A durable, convincing tiled surface is created through several coordinated work stages. Depending on the project, these include substrate preparation, suitable waterproofing, the right tile adhesive, grout, elastic connections, professional cleaning and subsequent care.
Litokol covers these stages with different product systems. A shower has different requirements from a pool, and transparent glass mosaic may require a different adhesive and grout from porcelain stoneware or natural stone. The decisive factor is therefore not a single product, but the technical coordination of the complete build-up.
Epoxy grout is based on a reactive binder system and therefore differs fundamentally from conventional cementitious grout. This technology can be particularly attractive for surfaces exposed to high moisture, sophisticated colour design or increased demands on stain resistance and maintenance.
Starlike® Pro epoxy grout is intended for many ceramic coverings, mosaics, natural stone, porcelain stoneware and applications in bathrooms, spas and pools. For transparent or backlit glass, Starlike® Crystal for glass mosaics offers a translucent alternative. This allows the epoxy grout to interact more strongly with the adjacent material as a design element.
In wet areas, grout, elastic connections and waterproofing must be planned as separate functions. Litokol SafetyGel®, for example, is available for waterproofing. For suitable ceramic connection joints, Pixel® 3D silicone completes the system.
Permanent water exposure requires careful selection of waterproofing, adhesive, grout and elastic connections. Starlike® Pro is designed for swimming-pool applications. HydroPixel® complements the range as an elastic hybrid sealant for suitable applications.
With mosaics and natural stone, colour, light and the material effect are especially important alongside technical suitability. Starlike® Crystal was developed for sophisticated glass mosaic surfaces. Matching SICIS® glass mosaics are also available from Tiamont.
Cleaning is an integral part of installing reactive grout systems. Coordinated cleaners are available for remaining epoxy haze and residues. Starlike® Care is part of this cleaning system. Further products support subsequent care, impregnation and surface treatment.

Starlike® Pro is suitable for many glass mosaics. For transparent, artistic or backlit glass mosaics, Starlike® Crystal is particularly attractive as a translucent epoxy grout. For visually demanding surfaces, a sample area is recommended before full-scale application.
According to the product data, Starlike® Pro is intended for wet areas and swimming pools. Starlike® Crystal can be used for suitable mosaic projects when a translucent joint effect is also desired. Waterproofing and tile adhesive are separate parts of the system and must be selected to suit the substrate and water exposure.

Zum Produkt: Die lichtdurchlässige Epoxidharz Fugenmasse hat sich perfekt den farblich unterschiedlichen Glimmerfliesen angepasst. Das Attribut „farbadaptiv“ trifft also zu 100% zu. Lt. unserem Fliesenleger war es auch toll in der Verarbeitung. Volle Punktzahl zu Preis / Leistung / Innovation.

Unter Zeitdruck habe ich bei Tiamont farbigen Epoxi-Fugenmörtel in einer Sonderfarbe bestellt. Einer der Firmeninhaber, Herr Celebi, hat sich aus dem Urlaub heraus persönlich dafür eingesetzt, dass der Fugenmörtel rechtzeitig in meiner Firma ankommt - beeindruckend freundlich, vielen Dank!
Der Mörtel hat wirklich eine angenehme Konsistenz und ließ sich einfach anwenden. Die Farbe gefällt uns auch sehr und passt zu den Marmorfliesen im Bad. Vielen Dank!

Bisher kann ich nur sagen, dass alles gut aussieht.
Das Bad, in dem der Mörtel verlegt wurde, konnten wir noch gar nicht in Betrieb nehmen, weil noch ein paar Sachen fehlen.
Leider habe ich mich in der Farbe vergriffen. Ich wollte ein dunkelblau, aber so gefällt es mir auch.
Ich hoffe, dass die Fuge langlebig ist und ihre Farbe nicht ändert.
Der Geruch war nicht so unangenehm wie mir der Fliesenleger prognostiziert hatte.
