SICIS® Waterglass is a shimmering glass mosaic of polished solid tesserae. Gimlet 26 reveals itself in yellow-green tones.

Gimlet 26 is made of shimmering solid tesserae with identical sides. The smooth, polished surface lets the light glide softly across the area.
Colour family in the SICIS® colour filter: Yellow-green.
An evenly light-coloured adhesive bed with full coverage enhances the clear appearance of the glass. The paper mounting on the front leaves the entire back free for bonding.

For professional installation
Bond the glass mosaic with full coverage and as few voids as possible. In wet, pool and underwater areas we recommend reactive bonding and epoxy resin grout in accordance with the SICIS® installation guide. Before grouting, the adhesive must be fully cured. The gaps between the tesserae must be clean and dry.

Bathroom & living spaces
SICIS® Waterglass Gimlet 26 creates accents on walls and floors, indoors and outdoors, and in wet areas. At the washbasin, in a shower recess or across a generous wall surface, the mosaic reveals its full effect.
Pool & wellness
The SICIS® description also names underwater applications for Gimlet 26. In a pool, tested waterproofing, full-surface reactive bonding and epoxy resin grout are part of a professional build-up; agree the pool type and water load with your specialist contractor. For floor surfaces in wet areas, determine the required slip resistance in advance.

The right grout
makes the difference.
Carefully coordinated grout completes the mosaic design. The SICIS® grout recommendation for Gimlet 26: Crystal 700.
Crystal 700 is Litokol Starlike® Crystal: a translucent two-component (2K) gel-based epoxy grout – not to be confused with Starlike® EVO or ColorCrystal. The translucent grout recedes visually and lets the glass take centre stage. Consumption according to SICIS®: 1.2 kg/m².

05 · Installation

- Prepare the substrateEnsure the substrate is flat, load-bearing and clean. In wet areas, proper waterproofing is part of the build-up.
- Bond with epoxy resinFor a light-coloured reactive adhesive bed, we recommend Litokol PowerGel® Pro Max Ultra Bianco: a white two-component (2K) epoxy resin adhesive of class R2 T.
- Align the mosaic designThe paper side faces outwards. Bed the sheets evenly; once the adhesive has fully cured, moisten the paper, peel it off diagonally and remove the glue residue.
- Complete the finishFill the dry, clean joints with Starlike® Crystal and clean the surface within the specified cleaning window.

How do I clean my glass mosaic?
SICIS® recommends regular cleaning with special cleaning products for glass surfaces. Apply with a soft cloth, wipe with clean water and gently rub dry.
What preserves the shine?
Clean gently on a regular basis. Avoid rough sponges, abrasive cleaning agents and strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners.
What area am I ordering?
The order unit is 2 m² of nominal area. Nominal area and geometric sheet area are not the same. When planning your area, the key factors are the stated sheet dimensions, the number of whole sheets and the cutting waste. We will help you work out the quantity you need for your project.
