Lava, SICIS® Fibers Thick glass mosaic with sculptural texture
Lava from the SICIS® Fibers Thick collection combines the expressive power of Smalto glass mosaic with a striking, three-dimensional surface effect. The strong colour nuances, the lamellar structure and the exceptional depth of material create a surface with artisanal character and architectural presence.
Texture, depth and Italian glass artistry
The surface of Lava appears lively, tactile and expressive. Its greater materiality produces a mosaic image that does not merely reflect light but absorbs it spatially and releases it again. The result is a particularly intense effect reminiscent of hand-laid glass art and decorative wall design.

Lava is particularly suited to interior and exterior walls, niches, spa walls and prestigious design elements. This glass mosaic is especially impressive wherever texture, colour and light are to be brought together in a calm, luxurious surface.

The mosaic strips are embedded in the adhesive with the fibre mesh and carefully aligned. Owing to the textured surface, press them down particularly evenly.
For these glass mosaics, SICIS® recommends the high-quality reactive two-component epoxy grouting system from LITOKOL®: Starlike® EVO and Starlike® Pro, also available from Tiamont.
A carefully matched grout colour brings out the depth, the shine and the colour effect of this mosaic particularly beautifully.
