This gel cleaner is your reliable partner for removing epoxy resin haze and residues from wall coverings. Available in the Tiamont shop as part of the system around Starlike Evo grout, it was developed specifically to work with Starlike® EVO and Litosil. This ensures that grout joints and silicone joints are thoroughly cleaned without damage.
Key properties
• Strongly adhering gel: Its high viscosity allows the cleaner to be applied evenly to vertical surfaces, where it stays in place. This ensures a long contact time and optimal cleaning performance.
• Gentle but effective system: Starlike® Wall Care is water-based and non-aggressive. It can even be used on polished marble and lapped or polished porcelain tiles without damaging the surfaces.
• Versatile use: As a concentrated gel cleaner, it removes epoxy haze and residues of grouts such as Starlike® PRO or Crystal. It also acts as a degreaser and wax remover and can be diluted with water if needed.
• In harmony with Starlike® Evo and Litosil: The cleaner was developed specifically for use with Starlike® Evo grout and Litosil silicone. Its formula is tailored to reliably remove epoxy resin residues without damaging the joints.
Applications
Starlike® Wall Care was developed for demanding cleaning of vertical coverings. It is suitable for:
- All types of ceramic tiles, including sensitive surfaces such as lapped ceramics, glass or ceramic mosaics, and natural stone.
- High-quality mosaics and natural stone, including polished finishes.
- Removing epoxy haze after grouting with Starlike® grouts.
- Removing dirt, grease, wax and organic deposits from natural or artificial stone when diluted with water (30% cleaner in water).
Professional tradespeople particularly benefit from its reliable adhesion and broad range of applications. The spray bottle makes the cleaner effortless to apply, allowing even hard-to-reach areas and vertical surfaces to be treated reliably.
Directions for use
- Preparation: Shake well before use and spray the gel neat, without dilution, onto the surface to be cleaned. To remove epoxy haze, the grout should have set sufficiently, normally after 24 hours at 20 °C to 25 °C.
- Application: Spread the gel evenly with a white Starlike pad or felt. Its high viscosity keeps it in place even on vertical surfaces.
- Contact time: Leave to work for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the level of soiling. Mechanical rubbing during this time makes the residues easier to remove.
- Cleaning: Take up the cleaning solution with a damp sponge, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe dry. If the rinse water evaporates, streaks may form again.
- Repeat if necessary: Repeat the process if residues remain visible.
