Craftsmanship, material and effect

Made from high-quality Smalto glass with a metallic-finished backing, this mosaic embodies the combination of exquisite materials, great craftsmanship and specialised production for which SICIS® has long been valued. The result is an extraordinary depth that gives pool, spa and bathroom surfaces a lively, multi-layered and architecturally striking presence, visibly raising rooms above the ordinary.

Areas of application

This SICIS® glass mosaic is created for interior and exterior areas, for walls and floors as well as for demanding wet areas. It is particularly harmonious in exclusive bathrooms, elegant showers, spa areas, steam rooms, pool surfaces and high-quality wellness concepts, where materiality and atmosphere play a central role. Individually designed vanity areas also gain a refined, exceptionally elegant effect from this finish, especially in combination with elegant glass basins. For walkways with an increased risk of slipping, particularly directly beside the pool, the appropriate slip-resistant version should be considered.

The Colibrì glass mosaics are face-mounted with a special paper. This leaves the backing free for bonding, allowing precise installation and a particularly clean overall surface.

For these glass mosaics, SICIS® recommends the high-quality reactive two-component epoxy grouting system from LITOKOL®: Starlike® EVO and Starlike® Pro, also available from Tiamont.

A carefully matched grout colour brings out the depth, the shine and the colour effect of this mosaic particularly beautifully.
